NewAir Pure Spring WAT40B BPA Free Hot & Cold Bottom Loading Water Dispenser The NewAir Pure Spring WAT40B BPA Free Hot & Cold Bottom Loading Water Dispenser is the most convenient way to keep icy-cold and piping-hot water close at hand in your home or office. Built by a brand you can trust, the dispenser provides cool, refreshing water on hot days and warm water for coffee and tea on cold days. The dispenser is equipped with a powerful, energy-efficient compressor. It cools water to as low as 39°F and heats it up to 185°F, so you always have plenty of thirst-quenching water to drink. Built With 100% BPA-Free Materials to Ensure Quality The NewAir WAT40B is constructed with 100% BPA-free materials. BPA is a synthetic organic compound used as a stiffening agent in plastic containers. If it's used in containers that store water, it can seep into the water and cause health problems. NewAir's BPA-free water coolers let you avoid this risk. They provide pure, clean, tasty water, as well as peace of mind. We're committed to providing customers with the highest levels of quality and safety in all our products. Child Safety Lock Installed on Hot Water Faucet Because the WAT40B dispenses water at an extremely high temperature, we've installed a safety lock on the hot water faucet. The lock prevents children from accidentally dispensing hot water, protecting your little ones from accidentally burning or scalding themselves. It guarantees a safe and reliable experience for you and your family, a standard feature of NewAir products. High-Quality Compressor Saves You Money & Makes Your Home Energy Efficient The WAT40B helps lower your electric bill. It's been tested by UL and NSF and it also received Energy Star approval. This proves that the WAT40W is safe and efficient, providing the comforts and benefits you expect while using significantly less power than other water coolers on the market. To improve its efficiency further, the dispenser also has on/off switches for its hot and cold water tanks. If you're not using them, these switches let you cut power to one or both of the tanks in order to save money and reduce power consumption. Stainless Steel Water Tanks Provide Pure Drinking Water The dispenser's stainless steel water tanks make sure your water always tastes pure and fresh. When water is stored in coolers with plastic water tanks, it often absorbs the taste of the plastic, but stainless steel doesn't impart any flavor at all. The water stored inside always tastes clean. The tanks are also resistant to rust and corrosion, extending the life of your cooler for years. Removable Drip Tray Prevents Water From Spilling Onto the Floor The WAT40B has a drip tray located 7 inches below the nozzles, low enough to accommodate most cups and glasses. The tray catches any water droplets that happen to fall while you're dispensing water. The tray is completely removable and dishwasher safe. Large Water Tanks for Both Hot & Cold Water The WAT40B has large water tanks installed, capable of holding the following amount of water. Cold Water Tank: 0.95 Gallons Hot Water Tank: 0.26 Gallons Requires Minimal Maintenance To prevent minerals or bacteria from building up inside the reservoir, the dispenser needs to be cleaned once every 3 months. Cleaning is simple. Run a mix of vinegar and water or lemon juice and water through the dispenser to dissolve and flush out any minerals inside. If the exterior gets dirty, clean it off with a soft cloth, soap, and water. Luxurious Design & Minimalistic Style The WAT40B has a smooth, yet minimalistic style that makes it a charming kitchen essential. The pitch black coloring can really complement the look and style of your home. If your in search of something sleek or subtle to blend with your the rest of your home decor, then this is definitely a great choice. In addition to its design its also bottom loading, therefore it's find a space to have it located. It's only 41 inches high, compact and unobtrusive, and its clean lines look great. Bottom Loading Feature Makes it Fast & Easy to Change Water Bottles The dispenser stores water bottles in the base of the unit, rather than the top, and pumps the water up into the reservoir. There is a cap and nozzle in the base. Fit them over the top of the water bottle and slide it into the base. The whole process can be completed in less than a minute. That's how easy is to refill the cooler. No need to lift heavy water jugs, the WAT40B takes the work out of everything.

After looking at several models I, decided on model WAT40 in black. This model is also available in white. I picked the black to match my other appliances. What else drew me to this unit was that the size was perfect and it would fit at the end of my cabinets and blend in well. But what really got me excited was the fact that the water bottle was hidden in the base of the unit. The NewAir WAT40 is a great convenient way to get all the fresh clean water you want. As I said the biggest selling point for me was that the large water bottle is hidden away in the base of the unit. All you do in open the cabinet in the front, remove the cap from the bottle and put in the pump nozzle, push it down to the bottom of the bottle, slide the bottle into the unit and close the door. It is that easy! No spills or lifting heavy bottles. The water is then pumped into stainless steel tanks. Being stainless steel, the tanks are 100% BPA free.
Operating the dispenser is very easy. The unit is turned on from the back. There are red/ hot and blue/cold switches that you flip on and the unit begins to work and warm/ cool the water. To dispense you just place your glass or water bottle against the blue tab and cold water fills your container. To operate the hot water, you need to press the button against the red tab and press against the red tab, at the same time. This is a safety feature and if not done in the correct order the red tab will shut off. I really like this feature. You can also shut off the hot water by the red switch on the back of the unit.
There are lights on the unit that let you know what the unit is doing, such as warming/ cooling the water when a new bottle is installed. Also there is a light that will blink when the bottle is getting too low. Cleaning is easy, just undo the top to clean the stainless steel unit about every 3 months. Also the drip tray is easy to remove and is dishwasher safe.

We were using way too many water bottles, with that comes lots of opened but unfinished bottles. Too much waste, now we just use a cup and get what we need. It's awesome.

This is an awesome appliance that has done nothing but benefit my family. With child proof hot water and easy to fill bottom water bottles, it is a must for any family! See your water consumption increase for you and your kids with this needed appliance!

I can't believe how much this thing rocks! It comes in both black and white so you can choose the color that matches your kitchen. Before my kitchen remodel white would have been best, but since we have redone our cabinets and counter tops and are now replacing all of our appliances to black that's what I went with. At first I was worried about how this little baby would look in my kitchen. But it couldn't look any better. The water jug does not go on top like typical water dispensers. Instead, it is loaded underneath so you no one ever even realizes it's there!
The hot water is perfect for making hot chocolate, it definitely gets as hot as it says it does, which is 185 F. There is also a safety lock so you don't have to worry about your children getting burned by the hot water side. This was a big concern for me since I have littles at home so I'm extremely happy about this feature. Plus, the cold water is super cold. I will admit I'm a bit of a water snob and only like super cold water. With the NewAir it gets my water as cold as 39 F.
I have been so impressed with this overall. It's super easy to get it set up and working. And my whole family is drinking more water because it's so easy to use. I couldn't be happier!

I love my NewAir Spring Water Dispenser! I love that the water jug is hidden, out of sight, underneath the machine. That way it isnt see by company, I love how hot the water gets for making hot tea and hot cocoa. Plus, it has a safety switch to turn it off. The cold water is perfect! So chilling and cold when you are hot and thirsty.
This machine is perfect for the home, office, or anywhere people want good, fresh water.

I love my NewAir Water Dispenser. The jug being hidden underneath is perfect because it looks better in my home with the jug hidden.
I love how the hot water is perfect for making hot cocoa or hot tea. The cold is just right for a perfect glass of water on a thirsty day.
My kids never drank water, we had to make them, but since getting the NewAir water dispenser I cant keep them from becoming water logged. They love it.
Perfect for home, office, churches, daycares and more.

My life is a juggling act of managing household tasks, working, keeping up with an energetic 10 year old, and chasing around an even more energetic 3 year old. That's why I appreciate products like the NewAir Pure Spring WAT40B BPA Free Hot/Cold Bottom Loading Water Dispenser. It helps simplify my morning routine since it's able to provide hot and cold water at my convenience. There are some mornings that I love drinking refreshingly crisp, cold water; while I prefer piping hot tea on other mornings. It literally puts my tea kettle on the back burner since I no longer have to boil my water. It's a tea drinker's best companion!

I am super pleased with the NewAir water dispenser. I chose the bottom loading design and I love it. I like that you just place your 5 gallon jug into the door and put the pump on the bottle and in 30 minutes, you are ready to enjoy super cold water or hot water.
I am super picky about my water. If I am drinking cold water, I want it almost ice cold and this is the first dispenser I have ever owned that provided water cold enough for my taste. The cold water dispenses at 39 degrees and the hot water comes out at 185 degrees which is hot enough for hot tea, hot cocoa, etc. My boys even use it for making noodles. The hot water side has a safety switch on it to prevent little ones from accidentally getting burned and as a grandparent, I really appreciate it.
I also love the way the dispenser looks. The black design is very chic and looks great in our family room. I like that it is BPA-free so my water will be chemical free and that is important to me. It is easy to use and operate and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone in the market for a water dispenser.
This is the review for the NewAir WAT40B Bottom Loading Water Dispenser. First thing to notice about this NewAir water dispenser is its sleek mini profile. The all black machine looks very elegant and in my case goes with my kitchen as all my kitchen appliances are black. The company does offer the similar product in white as well.
Next, this is a bottom loading dispenser. What that essentially means is unlike most regular models where you have to lift the 5 gallon water jug and place it on top of the machine, this dispenser has a nice storage slot right in the bottom and the 5 gallon jug fits quite easily. A pump pulls up the water and fills in the hot and cold water tanks. This feature really sets this water dispenser apart and makes it a beautiful addition to any kitchen.
Two more features I really like... One is that there is an on-off switch for both Hot and Cold water. So in case I don't use cold water in the winters, I don't need to keep the thermostat running. Second feature is the child safety feature for hot water dispenser to prevent any burns or injuries.
Overall, the machine is very quite. The water pressure is nice and steady, no leaks whatsoever. The dispenser is BPA free (making your drinking water safe and chemical free), priced fairly, simple to operate and best of all it has an innovative/sleek design and fits perfectly in my home. My family and I certainly enjoying this NewAir WAT40B Bottom Loading Water Dispenser and hope that you will try this great product as well.

Being a fan of bottles water but wanting not to have all the empty water bottles in landfills, I was happy to get this NewAir WAT40B Pure Spring BPA Free Hot & Cold Bottom Loading Water Dispenser, Black. It also comes in white and there are other styles as well. I chose this style because the 5 gallon water bottle is underneath the unit hidden away. I love how this water dispenser looks, it is compact, sleek and modern looking and fits nicely in my kitchen. I like that it has both hot and cold water, the hot water is steaming when it comes out and the cold water is very chilly when it comes out. I really like that I can easily get either one with just a press of a button or two. I like that I do not have to pick up a big 5 gallon bottle to set it upside down on top of the unit. I like that it is just off the floor, easy to put in the unit and simple to take the cap off and place the tube inside and with a click the water is ready to dispense. With 3 little ones in the home, I like the hot water safety precautions. I like that I can simply turn off the hot water with a flick of a switch on the back and it still has the red button that must be pushed at the same time to dispense the hot water, I really like this feature for the safety of my family. This is a very convenient water dispenser with an easy to clean removable drip tray and simple to wipe down exterior.

This water dispenser was so easy to set up and I can use it for so many things. No more boiling water on the stove when I want to make jello or ramen noodles. Now I can instantly have hot water with just a push on the tab.
This dispenser is really lightweight and space saving compared to the older style water dispensers. It only took less than 5 minutes to set up and it was ready to go. It comes with a long cord with a 3 prong plug. So if you're like me and there's no electrical outlet right behind the unit, the cord will reach where I need it too. There's a removable drip tray also so there's no mess on your floors and the tray is dishwasher safe so it can be cleaned easily when needed. This water dispenser stores the water jug underneath the dispenser in the compartment underneath. It is easy to attach the suction hose up to the bottle you just snap it right onto the top of the bottle. I do recommend wiping off the top of the bottle before you do so just in case there may be dust or dirt around the top. When you're not using your dispenser there's a clip on the dispenser door to store the suction hose so it doesn't get dirt or debris inside of it.
This dispenser is so easy to use as well and i love the safety feature on it when operating the hot water. There's a button on the red hot water dispenser that you have to hold in to dispense the hot water. This is a great safety feature for anyone with small children or even pets. There's also two switches behind the unit that allow you to turn on and off the hot or cold water if you wish. There's a red and green light that lights up above the hot or cold icons on the dispenser that tell you when it is either heating or cooling water and green of course tells you its ready to dispense.
This unit doesn't come with a water bottle but they are really inexpensive if you check out your local grocery or home store. I've been using this unit for 2 weeks now and we love it, we find new uses for it daily

We at Girl Gone Mom received a complimentary unit in exchange for our candid review.
For the longest time we have wanted a water dispenser for our kitchen. We like to buy and use bottled water, but we were feeling guilty about having to dispose that amount of small plastic bottles each week. I also thought it would be so nice to have a choice between ice cold water or hot water for tea or hot cocoa readily available and from the same dispenser.
But with so many different water dispensers on the market, how do you choose the right one? I was drawn to the aesthetics of the NewAir Pure Spring WAT40 model, which is available in either white or black. The seamless design of this bottom loading water dispenser allows it to blend into it's surroundings; It looks more like a piece of furniture than a water dispenser and I like being able to make use of the top by adding books or a potted plant.
The setup process was easy; Just insert the valve and flip the switches to turn on the heating and cooling systems. The dispenser is equipped with a powerful, energy-efficient compressor. It cools water to as low as 39??F and heats it up to 185??F.
This unit will accommodate either a 3-gallon or a 5-gallon water jug. You can also run your home water line directly to it. I was able to pick up a spring water jug from a local grocery store which allows us to exchange the empty tank for a full one so I no longer have to feel guilty about wasting containers.
The kids were really excited to start using the NewAir as soon as we got it set up. Featuring stainless steel tanks and BPA-free materials, I can feel good about letting my kids partake. I love the safety feature on the hot valve which requires you to press a button before dispensing any hot water. The removable drip tray is also very convenient and helps to eliminate spills.
We felt that the unit was too noisy to be running all of the time so we chose to turn off the switches for the most part and drink our water at room temperatu
There is a known issue with the WAT40's water pump. Our WAT40 only lasted 4.5 months. When I called NewAir, they said it was a known issue and they'd take care of it. However, when they sent the follow up email, I was required to pay $52.00 in shipping cost! For THEIR ERROR. That they KNEW about. I called to make sure I was reading the email correctly. I was. Do yourself a favor and save some money, don't buy the WAT40 (or anything for NewAir).
